No survey of the best of the American Songbook is complete without a review of the extraordinary songs of Harold Arlen (1905-86). From his early years writing songs for the Cotton Club with Ted Kohler to his film classics with E. Y. "Yip" Harburg and Johnny Mercer, Arlen contributed some of the very best of American popular music.
Shedd veteran Vicki Brabham and friends offer up a fine selection of Arlen classics, including "Over The Rainbow", "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive", "Blues In The Night", "It's Only A Paper Moon", and "The Man That Got Away".
