In the spirit of America’s rich storytelling tradition, Marin Alsop invites Mark O’Connor and composer-in-residence David Rimelis to join the Festival Orchestra for an evening of great music & tall tales. The program will include O’Connor’s Grammy-nominated Johnny Appleseed, Aaron Copland’s Billy the Kid, and Rimelis’ Festival-commissioned Phil Harmonic & His Fabulous Orchestra, with a special guest appearance by Lane County’s own Fiddle Magic.
