A Colorado native Ecaterina attended Oklahoma City University where she received her bachelor’s in Music Theater. In just over 2 years Ecaterina has established herself as a force on The Shedd's artistic scene. She made her Shedd theatrical debut at OFAM 2009 as Lady Angela in A Connecticut Yankee and created the role of Judy Haynes in the Institute's December 2009 production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Her appearances with The Shedd's Emerald City Jazz Kings include That Old Black Magic, Hold That Ghost! and Heart and Soul.
In addition to her work with The Shedd, Ecaterina sings with the Eugene Concert Choir where, last season, she soloed in Jazz, Gospel & Motown and Mason Williams & Friends. Last year she performed with the Serenade lyrical dance company at Ta-Da Productions in iDance 2. Previous credits include La Sonnambula, Seussical: The Musical, The Magic Flute, Guys and Dolls, and Pippin.
