In 1933, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers touched foreheads on the set of a Broadway-style production dance number for RKO Radio Picture's new musical, Flying Down To Rio, and danced--and sang--their way into Hollywood history. In all, the pair made 10 films for RKO over the next 6 years, 8 of which were absolutely peerless in their musical content.
