Designed by and featuring favorite OFAM guest artist, soprano Maria Jette, this concert will feature chamber music by American composer Amy Marcy Cheney Beach (1867-1944) and and other turn-of-the-century American composers who are often referred to as “The Second New England School”, including George Chadwick (1854-1931), Edward MacDowell (1861-1908), Charles Griffes (1845-1920), Arthur Foote (1853-1937), Charles Wakefield Cadman (1881-1946), John Alden Carpenter (1876-1951), and Arthur Farwell (1872-1952). Ms. Jette will be joined by Tom Linker and violinist Chung-Mei Chang.
