The four decade career of keyboard legend Chick Corea is the stuff of jazz lore, an amalgamation of influential, limit-stretching musical experiences. After rising to prominence in Miles Davis' band, Corea went on to change the jazz world with his own group, Return to Forever. Since then, his creative genius and genre-bending compositions have continued to stretch imaginations. Now Corea combines Spanish influences and flamenco-based exploration with his new Touchstone band -- Carles Benavent, Tom Brechtlein, Reuben Dantas, and Jorge Pardo -- playing music with a passion, finesse, and virtuosity that expands the horizons of ethnic-influenced jazz.
