Displaying the artistry of some of the world’s best filmmakers, The Archaeology Channel International Film Festival is a juried international competition in the cultural heritage film genre, bringing you the world’s best films relating to archaeology, ancient and indigenous cultures, and their world. Settle into your seat and let yourself be swept off to times and places you never imagined. Sample the human experience and the incredible diversity of cultures spread over this planet that we all share. One of only two juried competitions for this genre in the Western Hemisphere, TAC Festival is a counterpart to popular European archaeological and cultural film festivals organized in Amiens, Athens, Brandenburg, Bordeaux, Irun, Nyon, Rovereto, and Split.
The Festival Film Screenings take place at The Shedd's Sheffer Recital Hall May 16-19. Admission is free.
