The Shedd Institute is extremely excited to bring pianist/composer Bill Mays back to the Jaqua Concert Hall. Mays At The Movies is a solo piano evening of gems from soundtracks Mays has played on or written for, as well as classic Songbook standards used in movies by Warren, Mandel, Loesser, Fain, Legrand, Rodgers, Chaplin and other masters, including "Charade", "Smile", "An Affair To Remember", "Gemma's Eyes", "I'll Be Seeing You", "Cool Pool", "I've Never Been In love Before", "The Shadow of Your Smile", "Laura", "There's A Small Hotel", "The Very Thought of You", "The Summer Knows" and more.
This concert is eligible for The Shedd's
Free Shedd Jazz Student Ticket program, which makes a limited number of free tickets to 2016-17 Shedd jazz concerts available to students elementary through college. The program is made possible by a grant from
