Béla Fleck & The Flecktones have created a genre all their own, fusing jazz and bluegrass into a unique sound they dub “blu-bop.” Frontman Fleck first assembled the group in 1989, and they have since earned a devoted following, receiving 18 Grammy Awards and performing for half a million people yearly. Tunes include a sparkling banjo-harmonic arrangement of “Christmas Time is Here”, a fiery rendition of “Sleigh Ride”, and classic Flecktones favorites.
