The Oregon Jazz Guitar Summit grew out of the annual guitar series at the Old Church in downtown Portland. Last year local guitar favorite (and frequent Shedd guest artist) Mike Denny performed there with internationally acclaimed guitarists John Stowell and Dan Balmer, accompanied by bassist Dave Captein. For their first Eugene summit, this group will be augmented by another internationally acclaimed guitarist, Eugene’s own Don Latarski. Prepare for a red-hot evening with four of the best jazz guitarists in the Pacific Northwest!
